The Boys are Back in Town Party – 1 August at the SAP Arena

The summer break is slowly coming to an end and the Adler have planned their traditional “Boys are Back in Town Party” for 1 August starting at 19.00 at the SAP Arena. The traditional Adler Party is when the new team under Trainer Geoff Ward will be presented for the first time to the public. This year the party will be held on the grounds of the SAP Arena between entrances A and B. All fans are invited starting at 18.00 for cold drinks and small snacks.

As in previous years Adler Stadium Announcer Udo Scholz and Radio Regenbogen Sports Broadcaster Anti Soramies will act as moderators for the evening. The bands “Swedish Surprise Act” and “F-Flow” as well as a DJ from Radio Regenbogen will provide the evenings music.

Located beside the Food Stands from Eurest Sports & Food GmbH, will be a merchandising stand so that fans can purchase fan articles for the upcoming season. There will also be an information stand from the Fan Project.

After the official introduction of the team, the players will then mingle among the fans providing autographs as well as chatting with the fans.

Park lot P1 will be open for free parking for anybody traveling by auto. Admission to the party is free for all.

Adler Sign Six New Players for the 2014-15 Season

So far The Adler Mannheim have signed six new players for the upcoming season.

They have acquired two new Forwards. Andrew Joudrey a 30 your old Canadian is transferring from the Springfield Falcons of the AHL and has signed a one year contract and Jamie Tardif a 29 year old Canadian that is transferring in from the Rochester Americans also of the AHL. Tardif has also signed a one year contract with Mannheim.

Three new Defensemen will help round out the Adler’s Defense. Robert Raymond, who played last year for the Iserlohn Roosters of the DEL is a 29 year old Canadian and has signed a one year contract with the Adler. Danny Richmond, who spent last year playing for the Red Bull Munich of the DEL is a 29 year old American (US) and has signed a contract until 2016. Sian Akdag is joining Mannheim from the Krefeld Pinguine, he is a 24 year old German and also has a contract until 2016.

Goalie Youri Ziffzer is the sixth addition to Mannheim and played last year for the Cologne Haie (Sharks). He is a 27 year old German and has signed a two year deal with the Adler.

Individual Ticket Sales Begin on 21 July 2014

Individual tickets for the 2014/15 Season will go on sale on 21 July 2014 at 09.00. Tickets will be available for purchase for the first five DEL Regular Season games, as well as the Champions Hockey League (CHL) games that will take place in the SAP Arena, and the preseason game against the Frankfurt Lions.

The ticket price for the CHL Home Games against KalPa Kuopio, Vaejoe Lakers, and Sparta Prag as well as the preseason game against the Adler’s archrivals the Frankfurt Lions (Currently playing in the German Second League, DEL2) will be between 8 and 25 Euro depending on price category. Discount tickets are available for these four games and would cost between 5 and 15 Euro. Discounts are available for Children between 5 and 17 years of age, Students, Retires, and Handicapped (starting at 50%). Discount tickets are available in the standing area, and seats in price categories two, three, and four. Children four and under have free admission BUT no individual seat.

Package deals are available for the three CHL games and cost between 19 and 60 Euro for full price and between 12 and 36 Euro for the above mentioned discount categories.

Tickets for people in wheelchairs cost 8 euro and the price for the CHL packet is 19 Euro.

All Adler Season Ticket holders have free admission to the three CHL games as well as the preseason game against Frankfurt.
